Added to my fabric stash...........

My sister-in-law's mother was a quilter and I have inherited part of her stash.  That's my cat JuneBug peering through the stacks.
and three more stacks
I already have 3 or 4 quilts swirling around in my head!  Most of the pieces are 1 and 2 yard pieces some as much as 4 yards. A lot of pastels that I very seldom use, but they will take me outside my comfort zone of color.   Too much fabric--JuneBug gave up on her afternoon nap!

  1. uhhhh...just for the record - there's no such thing as "too much fabric". Do not ever utter those words again. Perhaps you need to make a little quilt for June-bug. She seems to like all the fabric. Maybe you can use some of it to piece backings if you can't think of anything else to do with it. Have fun!

    1. Oh I know there's always a need for more fabric. But I live in a tiny log cabin (320 sq. ft.) so I don't have much storage space. Some of the pieces will be ideal for backing(I have 10 scrap quilt tops waiting to be finished) and my 11-year-old granddaughter wants to make a quilt so she will be picking some fabric from this stash. As for JuneBug I have made her several quilts-she's 14 and very spoiled.

  2. What a nice stash of fabric. I know the lady that past would be so happy to know someone like you will be enjoying her treasures

    1. The lady didn't pass, went into assisted care, I think. So she will know how much her treasures are appreciated.
