I know it is spring, but I’ve been working on a quilt called Feels Like Fall.
A couple of years ago in the fall, I was walking past a quilt shop and I was determined not to go in, but in the window there was a quilt so full of fall colors that I just had to go in and investigate. The shop owner had made up kits for this quilt and I don’t usually buy kits, but this one just called to me. So, now two and a half years later I am putting it together. I had my leaf block done and then the next block section.
Just as I was ready to cut the block I looked at the instructions and realized I had sewn them together wrong—thank goodness I caught my mistake!
So I have spent some time rip, rip, ripping, twelve down and twelve to go.
